Shipping Policy

We deliver across Uganda from our shop at Sun City Arcade, Shop F3-3, Kampala Road, Kampala. Every order is confirmed with you by phone or video call before it leaves the shop.

1. Delivery fees

Fees depend on the distance from our shop and are shown on each product page and at checkout.

  • Within 7 km: UGX 5,000 — boda boda
  • 7–14 km: UGX 10,000 — boda boda
  • Beyond 14 km: estimated UGX 20,000 — taxi (matatu) or bus courier
  • Pickup at Sun City Arcade: free

Fees for taxi and bus deliveries are estimates. The final fare is set by the transporter and confirmed with you before you pay the balance.

2. How payment works

Within 14 km (boda boda) and pickup: pay on delivery or when you collect, by cash or Mobile Money.

Further out (taxi or bus):

  1. Verification — we call you on video (or voice) to confirm your order and show you the item.
  2. Commitment fee — you pay UGX 5,000 by Mobile Money. This covers taking your order to the taxi or bus terminal in Kampala.
  3. Meet your driver — at the terminal we introduce you to the driver by phone, so you can see your order is on its way.
  4. Balance — you then pay for the item, plus the fare if it is more than UGX 5,000. The fare is confirmed at the transporter’s desk.

Orders are held for 24 hours after verification. If we don’t receive the commitment fee or hear from you, the order is cancelled and the item released.

3. Delivery times

Kampala: same day for orders confirmed before 6 pm, otherwise the next day.
Upcountry: depends on the transporter’s schedule to your town; we confirm the expected arrival when we call you.

4. Refunds of the commitment fee

If we cancel your order, the UGX 5,000 commitment fee is refunded. If an order is cancelled after it has been taken to the terminal, the fee cannot be refunded because the trip has already been made. For returns of items, see our Refund Policy.
